Community Wide Celebration          

Sunday, April 11th, 2010 at 3 p.m. there will be a community wide celebration at Janssen Park to celebrate a year of recovery from the April 9, 2009 tornado.  There will be a presentation made to the city and county for their efforts in the recovery of Polk County and also a tree planting ceremony.  Two trees will be planted, one in memory of the lives lost that night and one to recognize the volunteers who have worked so hard in seeing Polk County through its recovery.

There will be free hot dogs, donated by 1st National and Union Banks of Mena, Ice cream, door prizes, and fellowship.  Please join us as we look to the future.
